Trade School Completion
Starting trade school at just 13 years old and completing it in 1990, our founder took the first steps towards a career in woodworking and design.
Founding Barrossa Interiors and Design
We took on our first projects in Kitsilano, Vancouver, and quickly earned a reputation for premium craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Adjustable Legs
Every base cabinet includes adjustable legs for perfect leveling, even on uneven floors — no shims required.
Soft-Close Doors
All doors and drawers come equipped with soft-close hardware to reduce wear and ensure quiet operation.
Removable Drawer Runners
Drawer boxes are easy to remove and re-install thanks to high-quality undermount runners with quick-release tabs.
Premium Materials
We avoid the particleboard, since it swells and breaks down when it gets wet. Instead, we use moisture-resistant plywood, made to handle the demands of a kitchen.
5/8-Inch Cabinet Panels
Unlike cabinets that rely on thin panels and hanger rails, we use ⅝" plywood and include full tops and back panels for a stronger cabinet box that installs securely and holds up over time.
Screw-Based Assembly
We don't just rely on glue or staples — all boxes are assembled using screws for long-term structural strength.
